Hello there! I'm a Senior Product Designer at Nelnet with over 20 years of experience in design, 

 

My love for technology and design led me to explore full-stack web development, but I found my true calling in UX. Here, I could blend my understanding of design with the development of a product, creating experiences that resonate with users. I'm passionate about researching, creating wireframes, and iterating through various versions of visual UI design. I've also had the privilege of creating a design system and style guide, ensuring consistency across platforms and products.

 

But what I enjoy most about my profession is the opportunity to learn and grow. I'm proud of my commitment to learning and upskilling, always striving to understand the world around me and be the best I can be. I aim to step into a leadership role where I can work closely with stakeholders and mentor budding designers.

 

When I'm not immersed in design, you'll find me with a book, exploring different genres and writers, or studying business, psychology, and finance. I'm a lifelong learner, after all! I also have a knack for photography and painting, creating surreal fine art images and painting with watercolors and acrylics.

 

As for travel, I dream of being a nomad, exploring every corner of the Americas and beyond. Ireland and Scotland, with their breathtaking scenery, are high on my list!
